Default Softies?

I am used to hearing them called plushies but while visiting my local book store I stumbled upon a magazine called Stuffed and its all about these little guys.
So I was wondering if anyone has tried this craft and if so where can I get materials and how hard is it to get into these area of crafting (finding supplies and time consumption).

I attached a example pic of these things in case someone is saying 'what in the world is this girl talking about" lol

Do you have a supply list?
I think I see beads and felt and pompoms.... All of those can be picked up at Walmart, or any store that sells crafty things.

I don't have one as of yet, I just saw these little guys and thought this could be fun. Unfortunately my wal-marts craft center is like one aisle and it has yarn and those make a friendship bracelet type kits.

I'm done some things..both plushie and softie are accurate names for them. My stuffed rocketships are considered both. So are sock monkeys. They are adorable, I love those things. I love Morning Glory fiberfill for stuffing...not matter what you call them LOL

You used to be able to get it at Walmart, I buy the giant boxes.. for like 9 bucks at walmart. Now they dont have it and replaced it with some crappy stuffing. So I bought my last box off Amazon. I have Amazon Prime so I have free shipping nad I wanna say it was still less than 15? Still a great deal.

I'll probably have to use Amazon too since our wal mart cut down their crafts aisle tremendously there is only 2 aisles and then a wall of yarn. Thank you so much for your help.

I went to Walmart today and bought a cheap pillow for the stuffing! That is what I use.
