Question What to do with Old Work Shirts

My husband has a few that he no longer can wear due to them not being FR (fire resistant). They are like new. I sometimes get his hand-me-downs for working outside, painting, etc, but these are just too nice. They even still have the company logo and his name on them.

Anyone have any ideas what I can make with these?

EDIT: The shirts are short and long sleeves, not t-shirts.

there's a link to a tutorial on making yoga pants out of shirts. If you scan through the whole thing there are some suggestions and another link for a skirt:

Yoga Pants from a t-shirt Tutorial

You could also make a hobo bag or reuseable shopping bag from them.

Are they T-Shirts?

There are two amazing books that I have borrowed from the library that are FULL of things you can do with T-Shirts. Here is a link to the website:
http://www.generation-t.com/ My disclaimer: I haven't gone through the site much so I don't know if it will have much info, but on the right there are links to purchase both books so you can see what they are called.

Thanks to you both! I'll keep clicking and looking.

I wish I could make the yoga pants out of them! But, they are not stretchy material. And no, they are not t-shirts. I edited the OP. I have heard of making t-shirts into bags. I think one of my creative aunts have made some of those.

Keep looking for me!

I'm working on a quilt for my bed out of my dad's old Wranglers. But it sounds like these are pretty nice shirts. Hmmm...

Hey Auxi. Yeah, I don't think I'm quite ready for a quilt yet.

I remember when my father died that my mother made his Sunday ties into the bowtie pattern wall hanging. Then pinned the tie pins (remember those??) on to it also. It makes a great display of what my father use to wear.

It's ideas like this that keep those visual memories alive. Hopefully, I can come up with as many creative ideas as my Mom does.

That's neat that your mom used your dad's old ties to make a quilt - very sweet! This wasn't sentimental, but a friend of mine made a skirt out of old ties. I've never seen it but it sounds neat...
