Kimber - I love that site. Everytime I have one of my kids parties, I go there to "borrow" ideas ;-)

Thanks! Really though, I'm just too cheap to have the party somewhere other than home . And I find it more fun to plan with a theme. My 16 year old had one for her past birthday with no theme. From my point of view, it was terrible (they watched a movie -that is what she wanted to do. ) My daughter the party animal. But she loved it and the kids were all giggling and smiling... Easiest party ever! She wanted to them to decorate their own cupcakes too. Did I mention it was the easiest party ever? They always seem to have fun and that is what counts!

Kimber, she loves the egg relay idea!

Any ideas for a pin the tail on the donkey game?

Hmmmm.... that by itself might be too easy, but I could make a big hat out of cardboard and cut a variety of holes worth different points for the kids to aim for! I'll have to put some of my groceries into a big cardboard box on Thursday (they're free).....

[QUOTE=Angela;13803]A burping contest could be funny!
What is chubby bunnies?
QUOTE]

I don't see an answer to this one... and I can't let it go unanswered.

Chubby Bunny - Sit in a circle, first person stuffs a marshmallow into their mouth and says "Chubby Bunny", then everyone takes a turn. Next round, another marshmallow, say "Chubby Bunny", etc. They have to keep the marshmallows in their mouth and they still have to be 'understandable' when they say the magic phrase.

It's up to you how cruel you want to be and use the big mallows or the small ones. Although small ones take forever and it's not nearly as funny.

Oh, I think we are going to have to to Chubby Bunnies! That sounds too funny. And since we are talking children, I don't need to worry that bad words will come out (It sounds almost like Fuzzy Duck -except instead of a marshmallow, you take a shot)!

So it looks like for activities we will have a jellybean (bag) toss -possibly into a big Willy Wonka hat, a "bad egg" race, some version of pin the tail on the donkey -still to be determined, Chubby Bunnies, and maybe making, or at least decorating chocolate lollipops. Plus presents and cake. I can't decide about a burping contest.... I think that should fill a couple hours. (I should settle on a party date too......

What can we "pin" something on?

Thanks for your help everyone! Nothing is carved in stone, or even chocolate so keep the ideas coming, please!!!!!

LOL sounds like my oldest DD's last party, boy girl party and they all hung up upstairs in the den area, listening to music and checking their myspace accounts....oh and decorating boys...how they talked them into wearing full on makeup is beyond me...

I love the chocolate fountain idea. Angela, you may be able to rent one from a place that rents out wedding stuff.

I think YOU or your HUBBY should wear a frizzy wig and a tuxedo. Or maybe your oldest daughter would do that for you and use a cane to walk.

You wouldn't necessarily have to have a real tux. You could sew black fabric on a white button-up shirt. I'm sure there are plenty of better ideas for this.

Some of the stores sell great big plastic eggs before easter. I've seen them at JoAnne's and WalMart in the past. They're bigger than a milk bag, but shaped like (duh!) an egg.

For the belching contest, whoever can finish the line: "Bubbles, bubbles everywhere, but not a drop to drink - yet." first wins.
