The party will be the 6th or 7th of March, but I will most definitely update!
So there is LOTS of time for ideas still!

How about having the kids wear those great big hats. I saw green and white ones at the Dollar Tree today.

On the Chubby Bunnies game, please don't take this the wrong way, but people have died playing it! Shoving marshmallows in your mouth is one thing, but the goal is to be the one with the most while still being able to say chubby bunnies. A marshmallow gets sticky and is the perfect size and consistancy to become lodged in someone's airway. Even if you know the Heimlich manouvre, it can become glued to the airway from becoming sticky, and it is very spongy. I heard of a story where a 12 year old girl died at school while choking because of this game.
Here is one about a 32 year old lady dying.
There are lots of great suggestions on here, but please keep the games safe so everyone makes it to see another day!

I read that entire Snopes story. According to them, a marshmallow cannot become glued to the airway, our mouths simply do not get warm enough for that to occur, however it can act like a cork and choke someone.
As funny as that game sounds, and even though I would imagine that any food is a possible choking hazard, maybe I wil re-think the addition of that particular game. If the kids are already in "silly mode" it could end badly.
Thanks for pointing that out. That had never occured to me. Parties are supposed to be fun!
I still don't know how to adapt pin the tail on the donkey! I thought that would be easy! Has anyone else got an idea for that one? Please!

I worked for a lady who rents out chocolate fountains and they are way expensive, especially for an at home birthday party budget.
