I cropped and printed some photos this afternoon. I've read that inkjet images blur when the adhesive is applied. I've also read that glossy photo paper shouldn't be used, although I didn't see the reason why. So I printed my pictures out on regular cardstock and sealed them with white glue (which I read is a good idea if you must use inkjet). I am just impatiently waiting for the "sealer" to dry. I'll let you know how it works.
I think that the copper foil will look great. I doubt you will break any!

It looks like they are working!
The glue dried and my inkjet images didn't blur or smear or anything. Well, I tried a few times, some did smudge, but I think I have figured out the trick for that. I printed extra to practice.
I adhered them to the glass tiles yesterday (I'm making two) and covered that with pretty paper today. I am just waiting for the "glaze" that I sealed the pretty paper with to dry. It is a little ummm... lumpy. (? streaky? I don't know how to describe it...) But I am okay with that, it's the back. One is going to be a gift and it is less lumpy then the one for me. Tomorrow I attach the bail! There is a lot of waiting with this project. I'm not that good with waiting.... I'll post when the bail is dry but I can't remember the cure time, so it might not be until Monday.

Cool! Are you going to show us what it looks like with pics Angela?
I've made some yo-yos with the Christmas colors. I made yo-yo flowers. Have ya'll seen them? Or seen them made? You make one yo-yo and then with 6 cut out circles, you fold them three times and gather them as you go and connect them. Then you sew the one yo-yo to the center. I've made two so far. They are really easy and something I can do while watching college football.
I've even come up with an idea for a Christmas ornament. It's of a Christmas Jester. Yeah, I know. I'm really strange!

Ok, now I'm really curious. Glass tile pendants and Christmas Jester.
I finally got some of the supplies I need to make my ornaments. Now I just need to find some time to get it done. I have only until the first weekend of November to finish all of my items that I want to sell for Christmas.
I need a handyman so that I don't have to do farm work. Then I could craft.

Okay, this is my yo-yo flowers. I'm sure many of you yo-yo masters have seen this technique, but it's NEW to me!
Here are some pics of them. I'll try and post another pic on how you gather them.
I just thought that I could make these as "back-to-school" barrettes! That way, I'll get a chance at the "back-to- school" theme for September.

I've added the gathering of the petals to the above project on flower yo-yo making. By the way, use a smaller needle. I showed the large one so you could see how I gathered the petals.

A yo-yo maker. Here are some different sizes:

It makes it easier to make them. All you need is the maker, small sissors, needle and thread, and of course your material.

I'll post pictures when it's finished and dry. I don't see any point in posting now. Hopefully tomorrow.
I don't think the idea of a Christmas jester is strange. Festive and fun! Fun is a good thing!

I look forward to seeing them tomorrow.
Well, I finished one, but I'm not happy with it. I thought the jingle bells were smaller than they are. I had some and the bells are waaaaay too big for the jester. So, I'm gonna make a bigger jester!
