He is an electrician. He works for the company that installs/maintains all of the traffic signals for the entire city of Toronto. Theya re starting a new shift and he has been promoted to the forman of that shift. but in his spare time he does woodworking (he is a member of the woodworkingtalk forum) and writes silly poems on peoples Facebook walls! Among other things.

Those are cute downrightart. The lollipop idea is really neat. Where'd you find candy like that?

You made me think of an idea. When someone has a new baby and I go to their house with a baby gift, I always like to bring something special for the baby's older brother or sister, if there is one. It would be fun to make the bunny out of a small baby blanket for an older sister to use with her baby dolls and attach the lollipop the way you did. Or maybe make it out of cloth diapers?

Wonderful idea Barb! I made four of them today. But, mom and my niece took the two extras. Mom wouldn't take the lollipop, but my 13 yr old niece did.

They were out shopping. For years, even when my brothers and I were kids, she took us to get bathing suits at Easter time. Before we had the pool put in, it was to the springs here to swim. There are many springs on the Suwannee River and then there is Itchetucknee Springs where folks come from all over to go tubing/floating down.

Then she took my children at Easter and now it's just my niece. She is 16/15 yrs younger than my children.

I love that idea Barb. Mom ends up making bears for showers. She has made so many that they ASK for one of her bears now! For years I always gave a toolbox fixed up for the brides. This was before they started making the cute pink toolkits! Go figure! Some of us had an idea and the product was picked up by another franchise!

Barb, sorry...didn't answer your question!

I had the green ribbon. But, the dish cloths, handtowels, and lollipops were from Dollar General. Lollipops were 2 for a dollar.

I ended up making about 20 of them at Easter time!! lol The girls made them in the class I teach at church and then I did them for all the ladies in my life for Easter. It was fun and cheap. I couldn't resist!!

Good for you! I was lucky to make those I did. I'm thinking with some Christmas towels......some could be made for Christmas.

Thanks again kocho!

Red face

lol I was just wondering what other "towel crafts" I could find for the upcoming holidays!! hehe

Other then the bunny towels, I've only done a few favors from washcloths. I did boo-boo bunnys and little birdies and some little baby washcloth roses for babyshowers.

These are my favorite kind of crafts, no sewing or other skills needed. lol Though I did buy a couple new dishtowels today to attempt a dishtowel apron. That will need a bit of sewing but not too much.

- sorry my daughter wanted to check out the smillies
