Thanks! The trees were made using an inverted drumstick cone with peppermint/spearmint jelly candies sliced vertically and just stuck on overlapping each other & pressed ever so gently. Unable to recall if they were placed with the point upwards or downwards. Then I stuck on some non-edible little gold ball decorations that I purchased from the local grocery store(probably with a li'l glob of icing???).

Yah, it was a sweet surprise to discover the dudette. Pa probably did have fun making it. He just set it there to see if I'd notice or rather how long it would take me to notice!!! It's one of my li'l traditions to give Pops a box of Licorice Allsorts (I spelled that incorrectly in that other post) and a box of Maraschino Cherries. His two faves.

And yup, it's frustrating sometimes, this new technology, but once ya catch the hang of it & succeed at it, it feels incredibly satisfying & is 'easy schmeasy', like DM sez.

Kinda funny, how in the third pic, the cord that was hanging behind the house looks like smoke comin' out the chimney!!!

That's cool.
My Father always liked those chocolate/caramel/pecan "Turtles".
Always easy to find them too. Po)

Haha! I get a box of Turtles every Christmas and Hubby gets cherries! One year they got me a chocolate orange instead of Turtles. I love chocolate oranges, but Iwas highly disappointed about not getting my Turtles so I went out and bought my own!

The allsorts dude was the first thing I noticed in the pictures!
I really like the pine trees.
I thought that somethign was coming out of the chimney. That's funny!
I'm glad you had the patience and persistance to post these!

Right on! I'm still waiting for my kids to start giving chocolate to ME for Christmas instead of vise-versa!

HMMM, they're decadent too! Personally prefer the mint one, which reminds me... there's one hiding in the fridge that I got for my eldest DD for Christmas; it'll be another two & a half weeks before she comes to visit...perhaps I'll just have to go scarf the thing down meself! And tell her I just had to eat it before it went stale!!![QUOTE]

Thanks, again. Yes, I felt flustered, yet determined. Persistence does pay off! The internal reward is the BEST! Also realized, that in Post #48, where the word 'made' appears for the first time...doesn't belong there! Oh well, just another ! Happy Valentine's Day!
