Default Purple and orange?

I have some blocks (glass) I will be filling with some Halloween items and then lights, and giving them out as gifts.

I only ever see purple and orange lights as an option and I am not sure what would work best... purple, orange, or purple AND orange.

Would that be too tacky?

Not tacky at all, they're Halloween colors! If you're really concerned I'd alternate between them, some orange, some purple or just go all orange!
