Valentine's card ideas...3D photo cards :)

I was originally just going to have him with the balloons, but I had picked up some candy chocolates to go with the babies photo cards and I played with the idea of taping a chocolate to the balloon string and it ended up looking like a mylar balloon! SO I went with it hehe....I did the lollipop one for Taiven and just a photo of Skye....

Here's the images that we got printed

And here it is with the candy balloon to give the 3D balloon look

Here are two versions of a 3D photo card I did for my older son
This one is with a lollipop....You take a photo of your child, have them put a fist up and focus on their fist with your camera. When you get the photo printed just take an exacto knife and carefully slit around the top and bottom of his fist and slide a lollipop in his hand to make it appear he is holding the lollipop..

You can even add a cute poem...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm holding this lollipop
especially for you!
Happy Valentine's Day

Please forgive the photo quality these are cell phone photos of the printed cards...

Follow the same directions for the balloon version only use balloon string and coil the ends. Pass the thread through the hand openings and then tape a foil covered chocolate to the card so it appears your child is holding a balloon!

Here's Skye's card...nothing 3D about it, but she is wearing some festive "babylegs" hehe

What a neat idea. I really like the one where he is holding the lolipop. I think the grandparents would love that!

Those are great!! I really like how the first one with the heart candy turned out.

Here are how mine went. The oldest was being goofy, and that's the best picture I got of him. I managed to get a pic of the little one on the first try. It was an "omg, if I don't get these pictures right now I won't get these made" moment, so I snapped pics of them in what they were wearing that day...which was Wednesday, lol. At least they were both in red.
