Bumping this back to the top.
I saw a really cute idea at the grocery store yesterday, not really a craft, more of a treat. It was just rice crispy treats, but they had a popsicle stick in them, and they were half-dipped in melted chocolate, with Valentine sprinkles on them!! They were individually wrapped, and over-priced, lol, but I thought it would be a really cute thing to make!!

I like to take printed color pages that you can find on a lot of different websites, color them and tape them backwards in your windows for extra large brightly colored window decorations.
Salt dough is also fun to make with your kids. It can be shaped, baked painted and decorated to make fun keepsake ornaments, picture frames or other crafts.

I forgot about salt dough, I haven't done that one in a long time, I might have to do that.

My youngest daughter loves salt dough. she made a batch while her older sister had a friend over and all three of them (one 11 year old and two 16 year olds) were going to town creating! But the stuff she makes just air dries, no baking.
I'm glad so many others have had ideas. We had some drama here yesterday and I completely forgot to ask my daughter about this. (she broke her wrists and is resting now, so I'm not going to ask now)
T-shirts are always fun. both of mine have a few that they have made.

Also, a use for the leftover christmas candy canes... if you position them right you can make a heart out of two of them. attach to card and you've killed two birds with one stone... got rid of the candy and made a cute card for someone.

Melting crayons in heart-shaped tins/molds make great gifts for classmates and gets rid of all those broken crayons.

My DD did this 1 year & gave them out to all her friends, they came out so cute. we didn't have a lot of crayon pieces so I cut crayons with a plastic knife, which is a lot harder than it sounds!

I wound up making these for treats for my older son's classmates! They weren't hard, just a little time consuming (and messy, lol). I think they turned out cute though.
