When do you start?

When do you start making Christmas crafts. Every year I plan to do more Christmas crafts and make cards, but I seem to always run out of time.

I work on them all year long on and off but really "start" working on them hard around Halloween. I usually go through a few designs before I'm happy with it.

What other holidays do you send cards out for?

I have a few relatives that I send Easter cards too, and last year I made all of my daughters valentines cards.
I struggle with making holiday cards, but really enjoy making birthday cards.

I always say I'm going to start making the Christmas cards in the summer. Mostly because things are always so busy in late November and all of December. Last year I started them in December. Ouch!

This year I am starting them in the summer. Oh, wait. It's summer now. Uh-oh!

Christmas crafts seem to sell best between Sept and Dec 1. Not much before or after that.

it's never to early to start... when you visit friends and they show you stuff they got, pay attention to what they liked and what gets put up somewhere, never to be seen again.
