Hmmm... I started somethng about a year ago and never finished it. Does that count?

When I plan to make a gift I start whenever I am thinking about it whether it is January or November.

Maybe I'll go dig those out soon and finish them.......

Haha! I have a cross stitch of an eagle that I started for my husband when we were dating ( so, about 19 years ago! ) and another cross stitch quilt that I started when I was pregnant with my now 15-year old! I keep saying that one day I'll finish them, that I'll work on the eagle while he is at work and give it to him for his birthday or something, but it hasn't happened yet! Maybe a grandkid will receive an unfinished quilt.....

When you have a few hundred unfinished projects, it can get old.

............... That's funny!

Last November, when my self-inflicted project of the week (which took me more than 2 months) was to seal my attic before insulating it, I was walking through the house and suddenly felt almost overwhelmed (has anyone ever felt 'underwhelmed'?).

Everywhere I looked in EVERY room I could see projects that needed to be finished or started. Some of them small, but still in need of being taken care of.

I started a list on the back of a long envelope in very small print. One side of the envelope is full and there are a few things on the other side.

About 1/3 of the items have now been crossed off.
