Foamies are an awesome invention and you can make all sorts of little things from them. They work for so many different projects and kids love to use them. For this project we are going to be making an American flag with a little sign that says “Happy 4th” with fireworks on it.
Materials:
• Red, White, and Blue Foamie Sheets
• Silver and Red Puff Paint
• 20G Silver Wire
• Hot Glue
• Fancy Scissors or Normal Ones
The American flag normally would have 13 stripes and 50 stars. This project really doesn’t give room for that many so we will only do a few. It will still look like the flag though. So we are going to start out with a piece of white foamie which can be 4 inches X 6 Inches. Bigger is alright as well, it is really up to you if you want to make it small like this one.
Step 1: Cut out a small section of blue to make the area for the stars. About 2X3 inches, this can be a bit bigger or smaller. Then grab your red and cut out the stripes. You can make them a little bigger and trim them once you have them glued on. Cut out another piece of white that is about 3X4 inches.
