Red face Fun Jellyfish Kids Craft

My kids and I are back to creating! Here's our latest summer craft. We hope you enjoy Jerry the Jellyfish. All of the instructions are at: Web address removed. Thanks for posting but we ask that tutorials not direct viewers off the site. I hope you'll post the information here in a manner people can benefit from it on craftforum.com.

What in the heck is that thing made of? Too cute. Good for you and the kids.

The body is made of a kitchen sponge (the kind without the scrubber side) and the tenicles are yarn. We attached the yarn with wire -- by pushing the wire up into the bottom of the sponge. We thought of this craft because we have seen so many jellyfish on the Chesapeake Bay while we have been boating -- so they have been on our mind!

Oh, the Chesapeake Bay! HOME! I grew up in Virginia. And my husband and I would watch the jellyfish from a pier when we were dating. Now I'm feeling nostalgic.

Really cute jellyfish craft! Thanks for sharing.

Too cute!! Makes me miss Hampton Roads!! Not far from there but still miss it! I might try this with my daughter..Though she hates them since she got stung!

My girls and I hung their jellyfish in their rooms. We just took a needle and thread and threaded it through the top of the jellyfish and made loop with the thread. Then it was easy to hang up in their rooms.
