Cool Funky Hat out of Plasic cup

During the 4th of July Americans loves to show their love for the U.S. A. Here is a way that you can show off and be silly at the same time. This project will take you 1-2 hours to finish and is not recommended for younger kids.

Materials needed:
·Wide plastic Headband
·¼ of a yard(Which is more than you will need)
·Hot glue
·4-6 oz plastic cup
·Red, white and blue foamie sheets
·Sticker Stars
·20G wire
·Ribbon or Fancy border
·Decorative Scissors or Craft Knife

You will want to start off by cutting a square that is just a little wider than your cup top. This is about a 4-5 inch square. Glue the open end of your cup to the blue foam; make sure you secure it to the foam because this is what will be holding it to the headband. Next you will want to cut the white and red foamie into strips, about a ½ inch wide and 3-4 inches tall. For the top of your cup you will need a white circle, this will be used to help hold the wire in place. Read more

That is so cool! You are so creative, Necrorose! I love the hat very much. A headband would be nice for girls. How about for boys? Do you have any idea what to use for boys?

I really didn't think that boys would wear it...LOL I guess they could be attached to a piece of ribbon, but then again it would be like wearing a headband. I think that some guys would be alright with the headband.

That's very cool. I would probably wear one of those at a party. I don't think I would wear one to work though.
