Default How Do You Color Your Easter Eggs?

I'm kind of skipping over Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day here, but I'm just wondering how everyone colors Easter Eggs.

Do you do something OTHER than coloring them?

Two years ago, my kids were cutting faces out of their magazines (you know, the teen heartthrob kind of magazines) and making celebrity eggs. The only ones I can remember offhand are "Christina Egguilera" (Aguilera) and a Billie Joe Armstrong one (Green Day singer) but he didn't have a funny name. They made video game characters just using markers too. Normally though, we just use the 99¢ egg dying kits.
We hollow out the eggs and keep them. Last year they didn't even bother to decorate any because they already have over a dozen each!

Our eggs are just died with store bought stuff and usually end up brown. When they get older we will do more elaborate stuff. I saw on the Martha Stewart show dyeing with silk and I always wanted to try that.
