"angry hippie", it would be hard to say what the problem is without knowing what kind of paper airplanes you are making. Some fly better than others. Some of them are better at flying if you use a certain type of throw. Some of them you have to tweak the angles on the wings. One that flies the best for us without fail is a "whirly bird". It is great for little hands because you can just drop it off the deck and it will fly down to the ground no matter how you throw it. It looks a little like those seeds that have the wings. And it twirls and swirls its way to the ground. My kids love this one. We have made dozens of them, so that we don't have to run up and down the stairs so much. :1eye:

If you're referring to the round ones, yes, there IS a trick to making them fly right.

I was indeed referring to the round ones... How are u going to post a tut with out including the secret method of launching these puppies??? Shame on u DM! SHAME! lol

If you curl the back fins inward a bit, it helps.
Put your middle finger inside the rear between the two fins, your adjoining fingers go underneath. Then a simple "FLICK" will send them soaring. I also toss them sideways like a frisbee.
