Hey.. I was thinking about what I could make for my little cousin's birthday and I decided on a little puzzle they can do.

First you print off the picture and back it with thin cardboard or thick paper and cut around the whole thing and get the child to draw a picture on it. Then, cut along the lines and they have a puzzle

I have an idea. How about cutting out a picture from a coloring book - a simple one. For example, a teddy bear or butterfly. Paste it on a thin cardboard. Cut it into parts. Let the kids color them and let them put together the puzzle pieces. It will be funny to have a bear with different colors.

Very cool!! My daughter would love to do something like this! I know that they sell hole punches that are puzzle piece shaped too! Love it!
