Most children love little toys that make noise. So this is a project that will give them a rattle that makes noise. It is great as a maraca and can be decorative at the same time. This can be done in many different styles and shapes. It is fun and kids can be very creative with this.
Materials:
• Ribbon Spool

Dowel/Pencil
•
Foamie/Ribbons
•
Puff Paint
• Craft Knife/Scissors
• Hot Glue
• Dried Beans/Flax Seeds
• Paint
• Google eyes
The picture shows you the bumble bee rattle, which is what will be described here. You can do this in many different ways; the gist is the same in all of these.
Step 1: You will want to clean off the Ribbon Spool, making sure that it is free of debris. Then you will want to use the spool to draw circles on the foamie sheet. You will need two circles so that you can close off the spool area.
Step 2: After you have the circles cut, you will want to cut a few strips of black that will make your stripes for the bee. Glue these onto the circles and then trim them to curve with the circle.
